Another week, another day, another busy Monday. I have lots of work to do, lots of things that I needed to catch up on, paper works, training sessions, household chores, reading work related mails, taking care of the baby and refresher courses. I sometimes feel that I am a superwoman, that is why every rest day I always make it to the point to catch up with sleep and rest. It's the only time to relax and enjoy. Monday is such a busy day for me, aside from continuing what I left on Fridays, but for me Monday simply means dress up day. I have to dress up in a bit smart casual because it's quite a demand in my position. You can't just wear a pair of flats in front of your trainees or a flat sandals, and as a trainer one must dress up at least a bit. Glad to have outfit shots again. Been missing this for the longest time. =)

Sorry for the long hiatus. Been very busy with work and training these past few days ever since 2012 has started. Wasn't able to take outfit shots since my camera just gave up on me. I needed a new one. Anyways, remember when Biang of Musings of a Wide-eyed Wondergirl in collaboration with Zenj had their holiday season giveaway? It was at that time when I was way too excited to join and so I did. I admit, I find myself unlucky when it comes to giveaway but when I received a tweet and an email from Biang, I couldn't help but get excited to the point that I kept on shouting and shouting because I was in extreme happiness. Getaway! It's more fun in the Philippines

I admit, I'm quite a late bloomer lady. And I don't rush myself in when it comes to the latest trend but I keep myself updated once in a while. Lately, DOT promoted their new slogan, "It's more fun in the Philippines!" A big "Yes" and I agree. Our passion to travel has always been in our family ever since. I grew up wanting and have been to many places mostly within the Philippines. If only I could post all the pictures here even way back when I was still in high school but some of our pictures were taken by film (boo). I realized that there are more to develop places here in our country but due to lack of resources and funds that is why they remain as is or just so so or worst, they remained unknown. We've been exploring a lot of places here in our country and there is so much of its destination that we can be proud of, to name a few like Palawan (Underground River, El Nido), Boracay (famous for its white sand beaches and water sports activities), Pagudpud, Camarines Sur, Siargao, Cebu, Bohol and a lot more. We must learn to love our own land for there are more to explore in our own country. I've been a living witnessed that we are blessed with great natural resources, and breath taking places that will surely make our vacation and relaxation meaningful. =)

And because I love Philippines and I am a proud Filipino, here's my photo op in relation to the new slogan.

2012 with a broken heart

HAPPY NEW YEAR everyone! I admit, this is an expired blog post but it's better late than never. I wanted to make a difference because somehow as I checked the updates of the bloggers that I followed, exactly on NYE, they were posting their 2012 blog posts. And this will be quite different. If you're going to ask me how my NYE was, I can say that it's unusual. If everyone had fun during their NYE, mine, I had my heart broken. While everyone is busy for their Noche Buena (feast) or preparing the fireworks, I was busy crying and weeping and bawling. I welcome 2012 with a broken heart. Sad to say, it's as much as I want to forget that my heart was broken, moving on and letting go really takes time. Even up to now, I am still in the process of denying that my relationship with my boyfriend for 4 years has ended. I am still fighting for my relationship, trying to save everything, but then the other person already gave up.

Honestly, I am still healing as of this moment. I admit, the pain is excruciating. There are times that for no reason at all, I felt like crying and suddenly, without me knowing, tears are already welling up my eyes and they're starting to fall, tears per tears. I won't give up without a fight but what if the person whom you're fighting for already gave you up that easily, that the person I'm holding on to has pushed me away. Will you still choose to stay or rather it's time for you to go away?

I gave up. I wanted to hold on to my relationship, trying to settle it, giving it another try but it's going to be useless. I love him so much that I have to set him free. I don't know how long will I feel this pain but I cling and hold on to GOD that I know someday, this pain will be gone. That I no longer have to suffer for I have sacrificed enough. I prayed and prayed and prayed every single day, I talked to GOD every single hour, every single minute, every moment that I have. As much as I don't want to think about it but I just can't help. Every memory, every moment, everything reminds me of him, of us especially that our love have been blessed with a little angel.

All I ever wanted is a complete family. Born and raised in a family oriented parents, I was taught that the great foundation is our family. And now, it hurts the most that my dream of having one has perished. Seeing my relationship torn apart has greatly affected me the most. I can pretend that I am okay, I can keep it all by myself, but at times, especially when I am alone, I can't help but cry, a lot. I have so much bitterness and hate in my heart and I want to clear it out once and for all.

Prayers. I badly needed GOD to help me go through with this pain that I am feeling. I needed your prayers for GOD to give me strength so that I could move on and let go with it. I could no longer take the pain.

So for the boyfriend-who-broke-my-heart and for the girl-that-you-chose-over-me, hope you both are happy. I hope our common friend, KARMA won't hurt you. And as for 2012, I'm looking forward to a better me, together with my little one, bright career, and a better future.

Time heals a broken heart. A scar in my heart taught me a great lesson in love. To let go and let GOD.

I welcome 2012 with a broken heart yet I'm hoping this year won't end still with a broken heart but with an open mind and a forgiving heart. I'll try to think positive thoughts and keep myself busy if possible. And to end this one, whatever tragic experiences that we are facing, someday, somehow, there will come a time that everything will be alright, in GOD's perfect time.

I may not personally know and met the people behind Blogger's United and I haven't met in person all the bloggers I followed but I'm doing this because I want to help the people who were greatly affected by a dreadful tragedy brought by Typhoon Sendong in Mindanao. My heart was crushed seeing the news report in television. So I want to reach out to all my followers, knocking your hearts to visit Moonleaf Tea branch in Maginhawa St. UP Village tomorrow to visit the pop-up bazaar organized in partnership with Bloggers United for the benefit of Sendong Relief Drive. We are still fortunate enough that it didn't happen to us but I would like to extend my deepest condolences to those families and fellow countrymen who have lost their loved ones. May their souls rest in peace. GOD BLESS all the souls and lives that were taken.

Christmas wish list

Christmas is just around the corner and I'm counting the days not because I'm excited for Christmas but because days after Christmas, I'll be going back to Manila and it's the end of my 60 days maternity leave. It means back to work and back to reality. Aside from the fact that it's the birth of our LORD JESUS CHRIST, it also excites me because I get to spend holidays with my family, unlike last year, I wasn't able to go home because of work. And now that I'm at my hometown, I'll make the most out of it.

Anyway, I was thinking of my Christmas wish list for myself. It's not that I want to buy them before the year ends but I'm also hoping someone would grant my Christmas list! (Dear Santa, I've been a good girl lately) LOL..

So here's my Christmas wish list: (any of those will do)

1. Nude pumps - I had few heels but I want to own a pair of nude pumps. Any of those will do, platforms or peep toe's would be fine.

2. Cambridge Satchels - Lately, I'm a sucker for satchels. Not only because they are colorful but because I find them very comfortable. The design itself is very neat and I could pair it with anything. Stylish and fun!

3. White Oxfords - Oxfords are epic. I love how classy it is and I always love the color white. I can easily pair it with any classy yet stylish outfits. Looking for a perfect pair and a perfect design.

4. A brand new cellular phone. Iphone4s, White Iphone 4, latest Blackberry (Curve or Bold) or Samsung Galaxy S2)

5. Ipad - I'm not really that techie but I find Ipad very convenient.

6. Digital Camera - I wanted to buy a new one because my camera almost gave up on me. It's still functional though 'coz it can still take pictures but somehow it will surely test my patience.

7. Rayban's Aviator - I once own an authentic yet classic Rayban aviator which I got it from my dad, but sad to say my brother lost it. Boo! So I would love to have this one again. It looks good on me. (#confident)

8. Shoes (Classic Vans or Low cut Converse black) - I admit, I am not a skater girl but I am eager to learn how to use skateboard. I own a hot pink low cut Converse shoes but my sister wants it so I gave it to her already.

I accept Christmas gifts! I would love to have all of them but *sigh* it takes a lot of effort to own all of these. Just one step at a time. Dear Santa, may you touch the heart of the ones who would love to give this to me as their Christmas gift. =) May you blessed them! And thank you so much!! =) LOL

Haitus is now over

Sorry for the long hiatus. I gave birth last October 28 and quite too busy becoming a full time mom for a short span of time making the most out of my maternity leave. Went home to Cebu to spend my Christmas here with my family and for my dad and brother to see my baby. I'll be going back to Manila on the 30th of December since I have to report back to work on that day. I was looking from my mom's documents and saw a picture of me during our Cavite trip. This was an OTD shot and somehow this is a backlog posts. It's as much as I want to update my blog everyday, sad to say, I left my camera in Manila and right now I'm still saving to buy a new one since my camera gave up on me already, it's still functional though but some of the parts were already gone. So to make up for the long break that I have, here's an outfit shot for the meantime to just update my blog for now.

Today is a gloomy and a lazy Monday. I was about to go to work but then an unexpected lower bowel movement came out of hand. I couldn't drink any meds since I was advised by my doctor not to. And so water therapy as it is. Anyways, I won't bore you that much. Despite the cozy weather, I decided to stay at home. Checked my mails - Done. And I spent all day staring at my laptop and played games. Wasted too much time and energy. Since I'm way too bored to play all the games that I could ever think of, that's when I decided to check out fashion and social sites. I checked StyleBible and Cosmo.ph and then one site led to another. I came across FemaleNetwork and answered their trivia which is titled as "What style of flats should you wear?". I'm so into flats before but then when I got promoted, heels is a must and part of my role. And so, I've been hooked up to heels lately. Anyways, I took the test and guess what the result is:

I don't think I'm more of a Brogue. Maybe that was way back but not now. I missed wearing heels though. If not for my condition, then I would have frequently worn my heels and pumps and peep toes. I may not own a single Brogue yet but I prefer Oxfords instead and I'm still on a fashion hunting for the best pair of Oxfords that I could find. But hey, Brogues are fine, they are comfy as well, they are more like Oxfords though.

Been very busy with the training for the past few months. Busy bee as it is. Another training class after the other, very hectic and time management is really important. I love my job and my position, no questions asked but sometimes I can't help but get sick from time to time. No matter how I take care of myself still when I feel super stressed I easily get sick. My immune system is so weak. I take vitamins but honestly, I tend to forget to take them from time to time, boohoo.. Anyways, the last day of my 6th batch of trainees finally ended. Despite all the struggles physically and emotionally, somehow I was able to get through with it. And so, to celebrate their graduation for passing the Product training, we decided to set a date and eat out at Something Fishy since it's the only breakfast buffet that's available after our shift and affordable as well. Our itinerary is to tour around the whole Los Banos and boy, UP is not just school, I love the entire campus, the ambiance and the people. Got the chance to have a vacation leave and well, we decided to explore Laguna at it's best. First stop, U.P. Los Banos, Laguna. The school is so big but conducive for learning because the environment is very peaceful. Stayed at YMCA which is just inside the school premises. Not bad, they also have dorms and the place is safe as well. I only had few pictures though.

Weekend Movie Trip

Yesterday, spent my last day of my rest day by watching a Thai movie called A Crazy Little Thing Called Love. It was a love story sort of a comedy. Looking back at the movie, I remembered my high school years, I had crushes but then I never had a long time crush. I was so amaze from the transformation of the girl from an ugly duckling to hot chic next door. She did everything just for her crush to notice her but little did she knew that her crush has hidden desires for her. What I love the most is that before the story ended, the guy left his scrapbook, a compilation of her photos even before she was an ugly duckling until she became a beautiful swan. And take note, these are candid photos of her. I love how the story ended. I fell in love with the movie and I suggest this one to everyone. I love the main characters of the movie, they know how to portrait their roles very well. Thumbs up!

I know summer is almost over but it's never too late for a summer getaway. During my last days in Cebu, my mom, my sister and I, together with my sister's friend Irene, we had a chance to explore Olango at its best. First in our itinerary is Talima, the place is still new and they are still improving their amenities and the place itself, going to Talima costs Php100 for the boat ride then entrance fee is Php100. If you want to try out their fun and sports/water activities like zip line, zorb, inflatables and other water sports, it's another fee that you have to pay. Stayed there for a bit then went to Olango Bird Sanctuary. From Talima, we rented a tricycle for Php250 to bring us there to the bird sanctuary wherein we can do bird watching, and take note these are migratory birds of all kinds. When we arrived there, the entrance is Php30 that includes the bird watching and a free use of their binoculars. For foreigners, entrance fee is Php100. We are too early for bird watching because they usually start to migrate around 3pm to 4pm, but we arrived around 12noon. So instead of waiting too long, we just toured around the place, took pictures and left. We then headed to the nearest beach resort which is Blue Bay-U. Cottage is Php50 that is already discounted, but the actual price is Php 150. It's a large cottage actually, a closed cottage. But if you prefer overnight stay, they also have rooms that you can rent, prices ranging from Php1000 to 3000. Not bad. Wasn't able to take pictures of their cottages but it was nice. I tell you it was a white sand beach but the beach is really crowded at that time, so we just decided to go home.

Parent's Anniversary + Summer Vacay

Finally had a chance to have a vacation. Went home to my hometown in Cebu for my parent's wedding anniversary. I surely miss home and I miss the presence of my family. We went to the beach and we brought along our dogs. It was sure fun because I am with my family and I thank GOD for those moments to be with them again. The food were so yummy and so delicioso! I was really purging and I ate a lot. But didn't gained weight though. The name of the resort is Rendezvous. The place is new and the beach were okay but the room doesn't have a TV, they don't have a karaoke or a restaurant, and they don't have wifi as well. It sucks and booo for that. The next day, it was indeed a good morning because I woke up to the right side of the bed, the sound of the sea breeze woke me up and the waves splashing along the sea wall. Boy, I never wanted that day to end. I get to enjoy my summer with my family and being with them makes me the happiest person in the universe. Thank you LORD GOD for my family.

I've always love to travel. I'm very passionate at such. Travel and discovering places that I've never been before. Every year, we always plan of going somewhere. So when I had the chance to go on a vacation leave, my mom and my sister decided to visit me here. And since, I only have 2 days leave at that time so we decided to just tour around the whole Manila. I admit, in my 1 year and stay here, I've never been to Avilon Zoo in Rizal. So out of curiosity, we decided to go there and have a little adventure. So when we got there, I was amaze by the place, I find it amazing and I had fun seeing the animals. I felt like a little child again. Of course, I still have a child heart.

Weekend madness

My immune system is totally weak these past few weeks. Not to mention, I had fever+flu+colds all in one. During my rest day, I decided to do nothing but rest and sleep the whole day. But to no avail, we had some parties to attend to and some chores to finish. I had a difficult time sleeping because of my clogged sometimes runny nose. I drank a lot of water but still it's not working and I have to get well by Monday because I have another new trainees to train. Another pressure but I enjoyed every bit of it. Moving on, felt sad because I wasn't able to go to church for the reason that earlier we attended a birthday party and after the party, we decided to watch a movie. Surely, we went to Greenbelt 3 and after window shopping, we decided to just go and watch a movie. We were having a hard time deciding which movie to watch, the choices are it's either Black Swan by Natalie Portman or Drive Angry by Nicolas Cage. As far as I've heard and read from the movie reviews, Black Swan is nice but we just decided to go and see Drive Angry because I was thinking Mingming might be bored, because I think Black Swan is a chick flick. I can rate the movie, so so. Just enough, not so good, not so bad. So that's how my weekend ended. Tomorrow is Monday and sorry but I totally hate Mondays. I can't wait for this week to end.

Finally after all the sleepless nights and the hectic schedule, the long wait is over! And I'm done training for the 2nd batch! Boy, I was very pressured because almost all of them have call center experience and I have to do it better the 2nd time around. The first batch was my trial and error and this time for the 2nd batch, I have to make it right. I admit, I did my best for the two batches and I hope everything will turn out well. Just like the first batch, during their graduation day, they decided to hang out and again, another Karaoke fun! FYI: Filipinos totally loves to sing, you can tell!! LOL! But this time, instead of going to Chicago, we went to Muchos which actually is my first time in going there. The place is enough for the group and not so pricey, as long as you have to make reservations ahead of time because it's in demand. Anyways, was able to snap few shots from my team and it was one heck of a day to remember!! Hope you learned something from me guys!

The Magical Experience

I've been missing in action for so long and I admit, my schedule is very hectic these past few weeks and life at work is totally stressful but in a manageable way. Part of my resolution is to update my blog as often as possible but sad to say, due to the demand at work, and demand to rest I have no time in surfing the net. But glad I was able to squeeze my time today because it's our last week of training for the 1st batch. Yes, for my 1st batch indeed. Anyways, last 2 weeks, Team Smozo decided to have fun and unwind ourselves, so since to revive our youthful days, we decided to go to Enchanted Kingdom. It's a good thing that Adrian offered that he can use his daddy's car so that we will no longer commute since it will take us long trip before we get there. And so, after shift the team with Lynette and me and boyfie too wasted no time, we then went to EK. I admit, even though it's my 2nd time around, I'm still excited though I'm not fond of those extreme rides but the ambiance alone excites me, the food, the rides and everything. So to cut the story short, we had an amazing bonding moments, it was uber fun! Glad that we were able to unwind ourselves despite the hectic sked and everything. It was indeed magical and it will always stay with the team for the rest of our lives!

Sorry for the hiatus. I swear will make it up next time. I admit, I haven't updated my blog for the longest time. I've been terribly busy with the training and all the reports. Yesterday, my first batch of trainees just graduated from the process training. I am so proud of them. I do hope and pray that they learned something from me and they won't forget what I taught them. I also do hope and pray that makes me an effective and efficient trainer (crossing my fingers). Anyways, since it's our last day of being together as a team, we decided to eat out or bond after shift. At first, we decided to eat at Something Fishy in Eastwood but sad to say, others are still full. So we finally decided to have a Karaoke Fun! It was a blast! Till next time!!

Goodbye 2010! Hello 2011!!!

Today is the start of 2011. I admit, I haven't started jotting down my new year's resolution. Before the clock strikes 12, I was completely lying in bed because I am sick. I'm not feeling well and I don't feel like moving a single muscle. Of course, I have to start my year right and that includes updating my blog. I don't know what lies ahead of me this year but for sure, I'll make it productive and successful.

To recap, last year: I was promoted from Teleservices Representative to Lead Process Trainer, I was able to save money, traveled 3 destination in a row (Vigan, Laoag and Baguio), I've become an impulsive buyer (bought a lot of dress, top, shoes and accessories), updated my blog every now and then and a lot more. GOD showered me with abundant blessings last year and I can feel the vibes that this year will be a blast.

Anyways, I'm looking forward for whatever GOD has prepared for me and for my family this year. How about you guys? How was your new year? Are you done making your new year's resolution? As for me, I'm about to start! HAPPY NEW YEAR EVERYONE!! Wish you all the best in life my dear followers!

Minute Maid Pulpy

I just drank a bottle of Minute Maid Pulpy. They say it’s got ‘no preservatives added’. Aw, c’mon…It’s bottled juice. Is that even possible? So I thought maybe... I should give it a try and taste it for myself. So I bought one

I didn’t believe it the first time I heard it’s got no preservatives added. So I read the ingredients (even the fine print) and everything checked out! It really has NO PRESERVATIVES ADDED! That means it doesn’t have ingredients that may turn out to be allergens, or worse...carcinogens! Whew! Now that’s healthy goodness that tastes so good, I... was really amaze. I found out that no preservatives were added. I find it so refreshing, I can really taste the pulpy. Because of that, I consumed 2 bottles in one sitting

So okay, it’s got no preservatives added. That’s really good, right? Not just because it doesn’t have those icky, harmful ingredients, but it also means... it's very healthy and safe to drink. It's recommended to everyone since it has no preservatives added plus it is rich in vitamins and minerals.

Speaking of Christmas, I believe it is everyone's favorite time of the year. It means never ending parties, feasts, get together, Noche Buena, and of course giving of gifts. Every year, each one of us has a party to attend to, and despite of me being away from my family, it doesn't stop me from receiving gifts. As a routine, our team decided to throw a party and celebrate on the 1st week of December. We planned to have another karaoke session at Eastwood, but sad to say, something unexpected happened that we had to change our plans to the last minute. Since everyone has prepared their gifts already, so we just decided to eat out. We went to Gerry's Grill to celebrate. It's been quite a while since I was with my team and honestly, I did miss them. I was late and by the time I got there, we then exchanged our gifts. Funny but true, the person who sent me the gift last year was Adrian and even up to now he is still the person who picked my name. My wishlist includes a satchel bag or a dress but because he knew satchel bags are very expensive so he bought me a gray cardigan. It was my first and I admit I love it. It's been like weeks that I was missing in action. I admit, I've been terribly busy with work and all. Christmas is just around the corner and honestly I'm not yet done making my Christmas wish list. Anyways, I'm still trying to save my money and avoid holiday rush, but sad to say, when I heard that there was a bazaar near our office building, I went there without hesitation and voila! I bought a lot of stuff. I was amaze because they are so cheap and very affordable. Chic tops and fashionable dresses comes in a very low prices. This is what I love about holidays! There's nothing special about this post. I just wanted to share something that made me really really happy. Here it goes, ever since, I've always love Chictopia and even though I barely update my chicblog that doesn't mean I'm no longer active. I have less outfit posts because first, Mingming doesn't want or is way too shy to take photos of me and my outfit, second, I left my tripod in Cebu so there's no way I can take pictures of myself when I'm alone, third, I tried any other ways so that I can take a shot of myself but sad to say, it just won't work and lastly, I have limited clothes and shoes and accessories with me because all my stuff is at Cebu boo hooo!

And this past few days, I logged in to Chictopia and received a welcome note that I'm already part of the style council. OMG! I totally can't believe it! Seriously, Style Council? Holiday Blue Cruise

Yesterday, I posted about the items that I recently bought during the sale, and last Saturday, our company organized a social event for all their employees. They do it annually and it's been my first time to attend such gathering. The theme is all about Holiday Blue Cruise. I wasn't able to prepare my outfit on what to wear because my schedule is very hectic the past few days. Luckily, I remember the top that I recently bought, since it's quite related to the theme because of the color blue and it is somehow more like a sailor or navy outfit, so I decided to wear them to the last minute of ransacking my closet. And oh I forgot, I don't have a closet, but my luggage, (because it is where all my clothes were piled up). Anyway, I have no time to prepare and plan my outfit so I was totally in a rush to try these one out. Here's my outfit shot and sorry but this is one heck of a heavy photo posts.

Dear blog and bloggers, I'm really sorry for the hiatus. I've been terribly busy with my schedule preparing for the upcoming training and new trainees to train. As a trainer, I need to prepare myself on the topics that I will be discussed in 3 weeks time. Anyways, I'm still in the graveyard shift and I guess I'll forever be in that shift. My boss maybe wants to see me everyday, 9.5 hours a day, 5 times a week. And actually, I had less time to shop because I spent all my time sleeping. I lack of sleep these past few days, so I have to catch up for that. But during my day's off, of course, why would I spoil myself, I went shopping and shopping again. I'm actually in a tight budget but seriously, after all the hard work, I need to pamper and reward myself. Went to Landmark during their sale and boy I was so much amaze, the stuff there are very cheap. If only I could spend my entire payout I would surely do that, but then I have to limit myself from splurging because of my priorities. Thank GOD I no longer have credit cards because if I have one, I tell you I can't control myself from buying.

Frosty the Snowman at North Edsa

Mingming and I went to SM North Edsa earlier. He was playing Playstation 3 at I-tech in Cyberzone, I on the other hand, was surfing the net, checking my blogs and playing games in Facebook. When it was time for us to go home, by the time we passed by in Sky garden, the light in the garden caught Mingming's attention, he loves photography and were planning of buying a professional camera. And so to test his photography skills, he took pictures of me using my Sony DSC-W55. What do you think of his shots? Not bad for a newbie ayt? The quality is not that clear though because were just using a camera that has a 7.2 megapixels compared to those SLR camera's. By the way, the reason why I titled this post as Frosty the snowman because I saw this huge lighted snowman in the sky garden and I told Mingming to take an outfit shot of me with the snowman, but sad to say, the snowman is way too big that I look so small in the picture. Anyways, so much for all the talk, here are the snap shots of me in the Sky Garden.

Graveyard shift

Sorry for the late post. I've been terribly busy that I barely had time to check my blog and even Facebook. Last Monday, my shift was changed, I was moved back to graveyard shift and that means another sleepless nights and never ending calls. I'm a trainer but for the meantime since I still have no trainee's I'm obliged to take calls especially if its queuing and its because it's also part of my stats. Moving on, because of my hectic schedule, I barely had time to shop, compared when I was still in day shift I have plenty of time to shop and stroll in the mall. A lot of things have changed since then but shopping doesn't stop there. Last Wednesday my manager is selling some Custo Barcelona's bags, and because there's this bag that I've been eyeing and the last time I bought a bag was so last week and without further ado, I bought the bag. It costs Php550.

And also bought new pair of earrings and a ring in a bazaar in Eastwood last Sunday.

First time

They said there's always a first time for everyone and I sincerely believed that. This month I had my first's. November just started but GOD showered me with abundant blessings. Thank YOU so much LORD.. First of all, this month I had my first promotion, proud to say I'm no longer an agent but a Process/Lead Trainer for our account. Honestly, even up to now I still can't believe that I got promoted or was accepted, 'coz as far as I knew I was totally lost and I almost freaked out during the interview but good thing GOD is in control that is why I passed. Yipeee.. Second, I got my first facial care treatment or session, I am not really vain when it comes to my face, you can barely see me wearing make up and I am way too lazy to wash my face at night, but my face is not that worst. Anyways, my colleague and I decided to avail the promo of Flawless - Power of P999. It means facial treatment for 3 sessions is only for P999. And so, I decided to reward and pamper myself. I just found out that each session costs P550. So we were able to save Php699, not bad huh. Third, I bought an Ichigo heels. I admit I am the sneaker type of girl or I'm really into flats and slippers, and honestly, I've never had any high heels. Just this month, I was so curious to try heels so I decided to buy one. Well, I haven't used them yet but maybe soon. I'm just trying to find a perfect outfit. And lastly, I'm looking forward for my first full 13th month. I am super duper excited. Last year I had my 13th month but it was pro-rated, compared this month, I'll be able to get the whole payout. Wow! Ain't that cool and exciting for all my first? One thing I do hope and pray and I know GOD won't allow it, my first valid centertrack (oh GOD forbid).

These days, I'm insanely crazy about rings and accessories. I'm supposed to be in my shopping ban but then I just can't help it. Everyday, I've been struggling not to buy these and that, and my boyfriend calls it "unnecessary" because he is very practical for some reasons like for example clothes, he once asked me why do I have to buy clothes every now and then when in fact I still have lots of clothes in my closet that I can use everyday? He finds it unnecessary and he calls it an expensive addiction. Well, I told him blame it on being a girl these are our own worries and simply our cravings, shopping is like our own brand of heroine, it makes us feel high. Agree??

I admit I'm not really a signature brand type of girl, for me whatever the brand is as long as comfort is still the key. I've only had few designer stuff and mostly I bought them from vintage stores and thrift shops. I've known some signature stuff and believe me some of them are hard to pronounce, we find a hard time pronouncing these signature labels and the designer's name itself. I'm not hypocrite and honestly I am a victim myself when it comes to pronouncing some of the big names. The pointy red horn

Yesterday, Megamall had their trick or treat event, aside from the fact that it's Sunday, it is expected that the mall will be crowded, and yes indeed I was right. We went there late in the afternoon, and by the time we arrived in the mall, what amazes me is that kids were wearing their Halloween costumes to name a few there were the common Batman, Spiderman, Superman, princesses, angels, fairy and how can I forget the ever devil with the overused red headband horn. Honestly, I've never been to any Halloween parties or event ever since, that is why Halloween parties or simply trick or treat is not really a big deal for me. But then looking back yesterday, looking those kids in their perfect costumes and bringing their pumpkins full of candies, it made me look back and somehow wished that my parents should have exposed me and my siblings such as like these. I mean, at least for once I could dress up and portray someone.

But anyways, the other day Mingming and their team had a Halloween fever at work, their team decided to dress up like devils and witches. And when I came home, he scared the hell out of me at the front door wearing those red pointed horns in all black costume. I'm not really a chicken or what but because when I came inside the room, everything was dark and I couldn't see anything but when I closed the door he was there standing behind the door in his evil look face and devilish smile that somehow made me scream. And because of that, I did punch him. Good for him. LOL

These past few days, I was totally dying to visit thrift shops. You see I'm hunting for bargain and thrift finds. And so, during Mingming's rest day, I dragged him along just to drop by in one of the thrift shops near to our place. I was really excited and went there in a rush. It took me more than an hour and Mingming was way too bored because he finds some stuff expensive especially their jeans, well I'm sorry but I was having a good time. and I didn't mind him When I was about to go out, this skirt caught my attention and without second thoughts, I bought it.

I'm supposed to be in a shopping ban but because I just can't help every time I see "stuffs" that would catch my attention and I usually end up buying them. I'm just human and I can't help but be tempted in "little stuff" and the major "big stuff" call it clothes, shoes, accessories and bags. Blame it on being a girl but I tell you retail shopping is very therapeutic. Yep yep! And that is so true.

Trick or Treat

Trick or treat! HALLOWEEN is way fast approaching. And not to mention the boom of the spooky, creepy and horror flicks, halloween parties - all dressed up in their scariest costumes, and lastly pumpkins. Why pumpkins? Well, everytime I hear the word "Halloween" the first thing that pops out my mind are orange pumpkins. Anyways, forget about those pumpkins because aside from Halloween itself, it's also the celebration of All Souls and All Saints day, time to visit our dead loved ones in the cemetery or for those who were cremated, well, we simply remember and pray for them. We may not have a Halloween party at work and I may not be able to wear those scary costumes and spooky outfits but I tell you, I'm looking forward to try it one day. :)

How does it feels to be able to help others who are in need? Such a nice feeling isn't it? The more you give, the more you share, twice or more than that will come back to you. A smile brightens someone else' day, warms and comforts a lonely and broken heart, ease the pain away and sometimes a simple smile cheers up a stranger amidst the busy day ahead. Are you willing enough to share one of your smiles? Operation smile in cooperation with Havaianas in celebration of Smile Month for this October, they are having their flip-flop design competition wherein it will be donated to the Operation Smile for the needy kids that needs to undergo operation who has cleft lip and cleft palate deformities. It's not too much to ask for and besides, we should be grateful that we are blessed enough compared to these kids, so why not enroll your kids and teach them the art of sharing. Like what a religious song says "Give, and it will comeback to you." So share what you got and share those talents that GOD has endowed to your kids. It may not be a big issue to you guys but I tell you it would mean a lot to those kids with such deformities.

I admit I'm not really a signature brand type of girl, I seldom pay a visit or I only visit these highly expensive boutiques that is if I feel like dropping by and I usually end up leaving the store empty handed. How pathetic it may sound but I prefer thrift finds. You see, I'm very practical; for me you don't need to buy all these expensive signature stuff just because you wanted to be labeled as fashionista or be part of the elite, sometimes, we need to reinvent out from simple thrift finds and its about confidence baby!

But that excludes Forever21, I am really a huge fan of theirs. I love their collections ever since, and now it excites me much because they are having their 50% SALE (selected items) and 10% off for those who can present SM advantage cards and BDO Shopping rewards card, and there's more, they have promos if you use your credit card. Geez, this is the only sale that won't last forever because there are thousands of Forever21 fanatics just like me who will rush to the store to grab those selected items up for sale. Yikes, and the sale would happen on the day of our salary payout, that only means TEMPTATION for me to spend my salary just for that sale. But I need not to be carried away, I have to be very calm and not to be an impulsive buyer because speaking of holidays, its getting near and I have to save money for gifts and all.

Lately, I've been extremely obsessed with shopping. May it be online shopping or merely in the mall or little stalls, I can't help but buy especially if I totally love the item. Anyways, I'm really into thrift finds and I bid on Ebay.ph from time to time, though I had 3 positive feedback and I'm still in my 100%, that's because I worked hard on it.

Moving on, this blush flats is my latest online purchase. It's quite expensive for a used item but because I already bid and won the item, guess I have no other choice but to pay rather than be known as a bogus buyer. I was able to bid this at Php 200 plus Php 50 for the shipping fee= Php 250. See? Anyways, I like the item that is why I bid them, it may be already a used or junk item for her but its a treasure for me. LOL.

In the beginning

Ever since I decided to live an independent life and left Cebu and decided to work here in Manila everything has changed, in the first place I wanted to be independent for me to try what's life being away from your family, friends, and leaving your comfort zone, and most especially being an alien to a new place where everything is totally new and unfamiliar. Exciting yet quite a nerve wracking but everyday seems to be in a discovering phase. And so, being away from home simply means no internet access. The laptop that I've been using before at that time is like the slowest and the old age laptops ever produced but it was surely a big help. especially when I'm bored. Anyways, I've been blogging ever since I was in high school but I wasn't really that serious, it's just like my favorite past time or mainly to express all the feelings and frustrations and anger that I've been keeping inside of me, everyday trials and life's circumstances that I've been facing. Back then, living here in Manila isn't really that bad after all, besides, I was able to gain new friends, new work, been to places that I haven't visited yet, new place to stay and believe it or not, time seems to be in a fast track, and I can't believe I've been here for a year. See?

Moving on, the benefit of working here in _____ (blank) is that we have access to the internet and that would mean more time for Facebook, blogging and some other stuff. Yipeee. That is why I'm back to being active in the world of blogosphere and so I've been following some bloggers that has an eye catchy blogs and some are my fashion inspiration, they are the guru and the goddess of fashion. Well, I was really curious and too lazy to stary my 30-Day Challenge and now I'm opt to start right now or perhaps maybe tomorrow. :) Well see.

I have a confession to make for those who don't know me, I'm actually a late bloomer. By all means, that is a big YES! Today is such a relaxing day. I'm stressed free and no stressors to ruin my Sunday. I was looking at my blog feeds of the ones I followed and Alexa's Post caught my attention, she saw this at Fashion TV and this is Dolce & Gabbana Spring 2011 Ready-to-Wear Collection.

I'm reposting this one because I fell in love with their latest collection. I can't help but think and wanting to own these. Oh my, I totally love the white color, they just blend with anything, can easily pair up with any outfit and very neat to look at. Anyways, white is my color, my boyfriend actually told me that I look good in white, anything that has a white color in it, whether its a shoes, a sandal or a simple tank top. That compliment flatters me not only because he was my boyfriend but because of course the color white really looks good with anything. See for yourself. :)

Anyways, I need to clear out my stuff and because of this, I'm totally inspired and now I'm hunting for white dress, top or anything white. Hmmm.. Sounds exciting, to hunting we go!

Splurging and Shopping

Finally, I was able to upload my pictures of my recent splurging. I made mention earlier that I went shopping when I received the retention payout, at first I was hesitant to spend my money but then I was so tempted to buy these and that. Anyways, I was dying to go on shopping, I just can't help but spending too much money over clothes, shoes and bags and accessories too. Shopping is girls ultimate therapy and I can't help but shop shop shop shop!! Who can resist shopping? Oh my, I was really tempted and if I could only buy everything that I see, touch or feel then I would be able to buy all of it (that is if I have a lot of money - LOL).

I don't know what I did or what I said but a colleague of mine is avoiding me. I honestly don't know if it was me or the other team or maybe she's having a difficult time of her life but for now, I just can't help but think and feel disturbed if its my fault or not

Well, I think she's mad because we had side comments about the music that she kept on playing, I mean, come to think of it, for 5 consecutive days, she's playing the same songs over and over again. I'm totally not against it, I love the songs that she's been playing, it's new and quite updated but you see 3 songs for 5 consecutive days and you almost memorize the lyrics of the songs 'coz it constantly keeps on playing in her playlist over and over again. Who wouldn't be sick because of that?

But when she turned her back and went to the locker, almost all of the team commented that they feel so sick of the same songs over and over again. They were able to memorize the next song that will be played. And what I said is just "I'll be able to memorize the lyrics" and that was it. No further side comments or whatsoever. I just don't know what I did or what I said that made her feel that way but I just can't think of any reason to be mad at such because in the first place, its the truth and maybe truth really hurts after all.

If she's up to me, well, sorry but she's just wasting my time. I don't stoop down to her level. And in the first place I'm not a trouble maker, I choose my words carefully and I'm very careful with my actions so if you're hitting on me, feel sorry 'coz I won't be wasting my time just for that immature fight or nonsense argument. Period.

FlipTop + shopping

Yesterday, I blogged about my latest online buys, and the bad news here is that I still have to wait for tomorrow for me to be able to pick up the items. I am super duper excited to take a picture of myself wearing those items.

Moving on, yesterday, I did mention that SM Cubao had their 50% Off Sale, since yesterday was Mingming's rest day, without further hesitation and just as he promised, we went to SM Cubao; we all know for a fact that men are not really into shopping so he suggested that he'll just wait for me at French Baker while he will just make use of the high speed internet wifi. I was really really happy, complete freedom, I can buy anything I want without worries as to what he will say. I did left him there and went on shopping for about 3 hours, yes 3 hours of shopping, that includes taking my rounds from clothes, to bags, accessories to shoes and not to mention the long wait for the fitting room and all. Thank goodness they have plenty of cashiers that saves time to wait for the que.

Anyways, when I came back to French Baker, Mingming introduced me to this FlipTop which is considered as Rap Battle League. As far as I've remembered, I've had an idea about FlipTop through Saab Magalona in one her inspired blogs. And since out of curiosity, Mingming made me listened and watch via Youtube. I was super amaze by the contestants and how they could easily throw some insulting yet funny words through rap. Some may hit below the belt, some words may break their bones but then they continued to battle despite all the funny insults and discrimination. This made me realize how smart and talented a Filipino is, amazing how they can easily make up and throw back the insults being thrown by them. The words they have usually rhymes in the end but funny how they could make fun of each other. You need to have a strong heart and mind because they will criticize down to every bit of you, they will look any faults and might actually throw it against you. So in this fight, one should never give up, one should never cry and one should always have something to throw back 'coz if not, then you're no good, you're a big LOSER.

Online Buys

Retention payout came out already! They are super duper excited and I on the other hand, is not really that excited. Though, it's a quite a huge amount but since my stats are wrecked, got a so so pay, not too exciting for me. Anyways, but still I'm thankful to have such payout. I'm looking forward in buying new stuff, like shoes, clothes, bags and accessories at the same time, I was thinking whether to deposit my savings or not. I still don' t know what to do with it.

Since I had an extra cash from the payout, I went shopping online. My primary purpose is to canvass and not to buy anything since I still have to pay for the shipping fee. But since I was really tempted to buy new clothes, here is my online buys for this week. Take note, for this week only, because SM Cubao is having a sale yesterday 'till October 3, so I told Mingming that we should drop by and pay a visit. Shopping is very tempting and I just can't help it.

For the love of Shoes

Retention payout is fast approaching, and my pay is enough for me to pay the bills and have a little extra cash for my wants. I made a list on what to with my retention payout, and as I made my list, I was thinking whether to buy a shoes or a flats or perhaps a new sandal. But because for me, I feel so comfortable just by wearing flat sandals or simply flat shoes and sneakers. Then, all of a sudden, I was thinking of VANS or Renegade Folk brand of shoes. While visiting themall in StyleBible, I saw this cute gray suede leather boat shoes, it caught my attention, and I love it. But then on the other hand, at the back of my mind, I always love to buy a new pair of Vans and when it comes to the colors, I had trouble deciding which is which. For now, these are the 3 colors that I have in my mind. I still have to weigh things out whether to buy or not to buy. Anyways, so far, these are my personal choice of shoes to buy and I just don't know if I will surely buy these shoes because I might changed my mind. let's just wait and see.

The summary of Day 1 and Day 2

Okay, forget about day one and two. I was about to blog yesterday which is day one but last night I was so tired and sleepy so after checking my Facebook, I turned off my laptop and slept. I woke up late and by the time I woke up, I then checked my Facebook and created a new look in Looklet.com

I was way too busy with Facebook and Looklet till all my time was consumed. But it's not that worst. Around 3pm till 11pm I stayed in my parents room talking with my mom or if not in our kitchen and you'll catch me eating. I was really pigging out during my vacation stay here. For sure, by the time I'll be back in Manila, I know I'll gain a lot of weight, but I don't care. Besides, I need to gain a little weight 'coz I look so thin or I feel so thin or the other way around.

Anyways, today is supposed to be Day 2 but then I think this is the summary of Day one and Day two. Yesterday was my sister's birthday. We celebrated her birthday by preparing something. We didn't invite other people but the only guests that we have is my sister's boyfriend and my brother's girlfriend. Not to mention my boyfriend 'coz he is still in Manila. I was the only one who doesn't have a pair but I'm all good. Besides, if Mingming was here, I don't want him to come because he also needs to spend time with his family since he's only here for a 4 days vacation too.

And so, yesterday, my mom prepared seafood and grilled pork and fish and squid, we had chocolate cake, Buko salad and a lot more. I was super duper full and I ate a lot, and it felt like it was holiday. Aside from that, we took pictures, we had family pictures, group pictures and couples too that excludes me. We had a "Headband day" also which simply means, aside from the birthday, we had a family picture wherein we all are wearing a funny and childish headbands. All of us wore even my father. I was really happy and so blessed to have a family like them. I thank GOD a million gazillion times to have a family like them.

HAPPY and BLESSED. Those are the words that could describe me. I was really happy because I was able to come home and spent time with my family, second because thank GOD we are still united and it's good to know that we are all complete. I thank GOD for that. I would never ever trade these moments and time to be with them. Like what they always say, "There's no place like home" and I would definitely would agree with that.

I'm glad to be home. Glad I was able to unwind despite all the stress and the stressors at work. I thank my manager/teamlead for allowing me to be here and be with my family. I know, there's nothing you can do but allow me. LOL..

I guess I have to end up here. By the way, tomorrow, I was planning to meet my girlfriends. I miss them and one of the reasons why I'm here is to see them as well. I miss my girls a lot. Hopefully all of them will come. I would expect that. I'm so excited and I look forward to meet them. I just can't wait.

Post Arrival

Finally!! Home sweet home!! I am so overwhelmed. After 5 months since the last time I visited here and a year since the last time I stayed here. I admit, I missed everything. I was so surprised when my mom granted my request, she bought me Shrimps served for dinner. It was like a year since I last ate those and I was really pigging out. Sorry but I just can't help.

Anyways, I was thinking I should be blogging everything that happened in my stay here. I mean for the longest time of being away from my family, every treasured moments should be captured. And starting tomorrow, I'll be taking pictures of myself and my family and our dogs too. This ain't Day One, 'coz this is just a post arrival blog. I was just here for like hours so let's take it into consideration. :)

Well, it's really getting late and I'm still wide awake. I miss spending out this late in my room, nothing important is going on but definitely you'll catch me surfing and blogging and some other stuff I normally do when I'm bored.

My mom and I had a little conversation, but then I thought it would end that easily, but I was really having the longest conversation with her. I was really sleepy and my eyes were like twitching but then I still managed to actively listen to whatever she says. I'm spending my maximum time here with my family. Anyways, thank GOD, I was still in my concentration in paying attention to her.

Our dog Butchow could no longer recognized me because he was way 3 months the last time I saw him and for sure, he's not familiar with me since I've been away from them. I didn't see him growing up. But so far, I was trying to reach out and now, we're like so so.. Quite okay but manageable. :)

I guess I have to end up here. I am so damn sleepy.. Till here guys. :)

Movie Marathon

Yesterday Mingming and I had our normal routine Sunday afternoon. After my shift, since it's still too early to attend Sunday service, I went straight home and Mingming asked me what I wanted to do. He suggested to go watch a movie in my laptop since we still have pending downloaded movies that we haven't watch, so we decided to take a break and watched a movie.

Killers - Spencer Aimes (Ashton Kutcher), is an undercover and a hired assassin whose quest is to kill European Locals. On the other hand, Jen Kornfeldt (Katherine Heigl) a beautiful lady, who recently had her heart broken travelled to Nice with her parents. While on her way to the room, when the elevator door opened, she was stumbled and amaze to see Spencer who seems to be topless at that time. They exchanged smiles till they introduced each other. It was then that Spencer invited Jen for a dinner and she accepted. The two started dating, until Spencer decided to quit his job but then his boss disagrees with his decision 'coz they just don't quit that easily but what he did, he stopped and then he decied to marry Jen with the blessing of her parents. They live a normal life after that. Three years after, Spencer received an ultimatum from his boss about another job offer but he refused the offer. That's when their neighbors turned out to be their enemies and betrayed them because for a fact that Spencer is the target of a multi-million dollar hit. They suspected and can't trust anyone, and ran to save their lives and their marriage since they've been arguing because Jen didn't know what Spencer is up to and all his past or his real job is, all he thought that Spencer was just any ideal, Mr. Nice guy and the seemingly gentleman type but then it turned out to an undercover.

Grown Ups - It's actually a comedy about families, about a team reuniting after their coach died and after 32 years of being away from each other, how their lives turned out to be, how they deal with their wives and children, reminiscing the good old times. and spending out of their time being together with their buddies and their families. It was a hilarious movie. It was more like a free speech, as if they were just plain talking, teasing each other and all. The acting were all pretty natural. It's a must see movie for the family.

Nuffnang Experience

I was checking my mails when all of a sudden I remembered I signed up to nuffnang. I checked my account if it's still existing and to my surprise, yes it still exists. Without further hesitation, I updated my account and added my 2 active blogs, this one and my tumblr account. I had numerous blogs from different sites but then so far these are the only blogs that is updated. I haven't checked nor visited the others. I had a hard time understanding on how to post the ads, you have to edit the HTML layout and as far as I can remember, I was way back in high school the last time I reviewed about HTML stuff. It was really an epistaxis moment for me. But then thank GOD, they have a very helpful tips with images on how to add those code in the HTML layout. I had to sort everything out and hope I did the right thing. When I saw the preview, I was like saying to myself "Oh! Finally.. Nuffnang it's nice to see you.." It's been like months since I heard about Nuffnang. Promotions and advertised from different bloggers that I've followed and from the blogosphere itself. Due to my curiosity I signed up without reading the terms and conditions. But anyways, since I had all the time in the world earlier, I took my time reading their terms and agreements. I just understood their terms just now after months of signing in their account.

Anyways, so much for all the talk. What matters is that I was able to update my account and at the same time, and I can see their ads in my pages already. Glad to be part of them. My next step, is to be part of their Glitterari, it's like a VIP for members. Looking forward in 4 days to be part of it.

I guess that would be all... Just want to share my Nuffnang experience.

Bringing bad news

Today was really one of the busiest day at work. Everyone seems to be so stressed earlier when agents from Boulder turned over their boards and inbound calls to us. Handling 2-3 branches is tolerable but 6 branches? That is very toxic. Take note, in 1 branch I had 3 directed callout and a lot of calls that needs to be covered ASAP. (yes - immediate coverage). Anyways, I know you guys can't relate to my field of work so I'm putting this aside.

Moving on, yesterday I spoke with my mom, she said my dad is about to resign this December, not because he wanted to but because a new memo has been released by their HR that those employees who are 60 years old and above has to resign. My dad felt sad about the news, I mean he's not old enough but then he still wants to work. He doesn't want to just stay at the house and do nothing. I felt sad at the same time happy. Sad because he still wants to work, we still have lots of responsibilities to attend to, and happy at the same time because at his age, they are supposed to be staying at the house or travel around the world or simply do nothing but enjoy life. It's at their age wherein you will actually look back your achievements. I just don't know how to react in such. I guess this is it, we can't do anything but accept the fact.

On the other hand, I blogged in my Tumblr that I'll be visiting Forever21's store yesterday, but sad to say, I felt lazy so I decided to just stay in the Foodcourt. I ordered Takuyaki and a 16 oz Sago't Gulaman. I was pigging out. And also yesterday, I lost my interest in starting a fashion blog. It's not because I'm lazy to create a new account but because my boyfriend discouraged me. He said I don't fit in because I'm not really born to be fashionista, I have lack of resources and my style is too laid back to be labeled as such. I just don't know why he said that, is it because he's way too honest or maybe he just don't want to support me. I don't know but I told myself, fine, he's right, he has a point and maybe I don't need to force and pressure myself in fashion world. Well, just to gain more courage, I told myself that you don't have to create a fashion blog just for the whole world to see that you are into fashion, as long as you have confidence in yourself then that's it. Period.

Well, I guess I just have to deal with it. I guess...

Expect the Unexpected

I thought I'm down to my last warning when all of a sudden my manager handed me pieces of paper for me to sign. When I read the heading, it says there that its a "Show Cause Memo - with a subject - Violation of Attendance Policy". Fuck, I received a written warning for my tardiness and one late would escalate to 1 day suspension. Oh my, now my record sucks. I told myself that I have to maintain a clean record 'coz I'm aiming for a promotion but here comes this written warning that was issued to me now that really sucks big time. Hell yeah, I've been working so hard for my stats to remain above or within average but then just for my two lates and I have reasons why I am late and no consideration? :( Now I felt sad, I am now discouraged to the fact that I am no longer a candidate for promotion. That means I can never be promoted, not anymore. And so, because of this, I finally decided to file my resignation by next year. I'll find a new job, I'll start from a clean slate. Next year, I'll shift to another work, another career. I'll wait 'till next year because I can't resign right away 'coz I'm still waiting for the payout for the incentive program, for the 13th month and the tax return. That is why I'm patiently waiting till next year and that's final. I'm already in my 1st year here and I admit I had fun, I was able to gain new friends, new experiences and new stories to tell.

Well, that's life after all. We have to move on.. tsk.. tsk... :(

Sick

I was looking for a quote that would somehow brighten my gloomy Tuesday and as I checked my twitter I saw this quote "New day! Be thankful. Continue to have faith and everything else will fall into place. Go forward, and glory to God!". It made me realize a lot of things. Despite all the trials and frustrations that I'm facing right now, GOD tells me that I should be thankful, that with GOD + prayers = everything will fall into place, by GOD's perfect time. Lately, I've been thinking a lot of stuff.

First, I miss home. I can only imagine how my life would turn out if I wasn't here. I would have been enjoying life in Cebu right at this very moment, with my family, dogs and friends. I'm totally homesick. There's no place like home, I miss my room, the never ending internet connection at home, the sumptuous and mouth watering food, my Hello Kitty stuff, I miss hanging out with friends and I miss everything. This August 30th will be our first year here in Manila and time flies so fast. This is my 2nd birthday without spending it with my family. So sad... 23rd birthday alone or with Mingming. Maybe this is really independent life is all about, being alone and I guess I have to get used to with that.

Second, work. I admit, I am very contented with my work right now. It's not that stressful and it's like a regular day job, I even have more time for fun stuff and shopping (that is if I have extra money). I am happy that I got a raise. Out of 13, only 3 got an increase and I am of one them. But you see, I had a salary increase because I worked hard, I earned that one and because I take full responsibility with extra care of my responsibilities but what frustrates me is that I should have been given a chance, but what happened is that I remained stagnant. I should have been promoted, my stats are in good shape, my QA is above average, I don't have any center track, no absences (I had 2 sick leave but I am entitled for that - I just don't feel well at that time) and the only fault here is my tardiness. Of course, I tried so hard not to be late, but the jeepneys and taxi's seldom passes in our street that is why no matter how early I leave but sad to say it takes time to wait for a cab or a jeepney. But my tardiness doesn't always happen everyday. Am I not worth to be promoted? I'm not mad at my manager for not choosing me, I'm just so frustrated 'coz I wasn't given a chance. I already made plans for myself that I have to do something for myself, I don't want to be an agent forever, I have to move to another level, climb to another ladder of success but that was taken away from me. What else can I do? After going through a lot of decision making, I finally decided to move on. I'll just wait till next year and I'll be resigning, and maybe that would be final. Nothing will happen if I won't move on. So, that's it, since my worth here is unnoticed, then why stay? I am happy with my team, with my work but I don't want my life to stop right here, to just do nothing. I have to move on..

Anyways, I am so excited for my Singapore trip with my mom and my sister. I just can't wait for our trip, I'll make sure to make the most out of it. I'll have all the time in the world. I just can't wait to unwind, break free and have fun. This is one heck of a vacation I don't want to miss. I miss travelling, I am very passionate when it comes to travelling. If only I can tour around the world and if only I have lots of money then I would definitely be travelling nonstop. Ain't that fun? :)

I am so hurt. I just don't know why I'm feeling this way. i can't think straight. But one thing's for sure, I just can't wait for this day to end..

I miss CEBU... :(

I just don't know why I feel like blogging.. The main purpose as to why I'm here is that I have to search for our place to stay in Singapore and while searching down the list of the hotels and hostels when all of a sudden it says "Webpage cannot be displayed. Check your connection." <--- just added that one, what a fudge, I have to hurry myself in looking for a hotel to stay 'coz August is getting near and still I haven't made any hotel bookings. Though I admit I have all the internet access at work but the only thing here is that hello, I have inbound and outbound calls that I have to attend to and I have to monitor calls in my board. I didn't go to work just to take advantage of the free internet access but it's because I am paid to do my job as an agent. That is why my time is precious that every second of it counts. I have to do what I've been tasked to do.

Moving on, this blog is not just about expressing my thoughts just because this stupid connection here in this mall (not to drop name) is so freaking me out. It's as much as I want to have our owN line of internet connection but right now, I've set my priorities already, maybe sooner or later but not now, I have to save some money for my Singapore trip.

Anyways, moving forward, guess the connection is no longer that worst than I expected. Maybe just maybe.. Let's just wait and see.. :)

I'm trying to welcome myself back to blogging. It's been quite a while and I admit, I haven't updated my blogs lately. As far as I could remember the last update that I posted here is about starting a food and travel blog and after that no further updates. Anyways, libys (sorry if I spelled it wrong) commented in one of my post mentioning about fish ball, well, I was amaze that she left a comment and at the same time I replied to her, and I even checked her blog too and found out she has this giveaways as to whoever will follow her but then sad to say I didn't make it. Someone won the freebies already but she mentioned that she has a friend of hers too that is also having the same promo or should I say giving out some freebies as to whoever will follow them and will blog about them. It's more like promoting their blog which is quite amazing 'coz I myself can't actually dare doing that.

And so, I followed her and here I am, ending up blogging about her site, I wanted to blog about her not because I wanted to win the giveaways but because I love to help her by promoting her blog as well. Which is a win win situation though I'm not sure if I'll win the stuff but at least I was able to help promote her blog which is through blogging as well.
